For 29 days, we traveled around India by car, trains, planes and more. This posts details the costs and our experience with each mode of transportation.
We spent our first few days in Thailand in Bangkok, the Capital City. Instead of doing the touristy things, we relaxed by going ice skating and to a movie.
We spent our last few days in Malaysia in the State of Sabah, Borneo, where we saw the orang utans, sun bears and went on a river cruise.
After Christmas, we went up to Chiang Mai and tried our hand at Thai cooking. Then it was onto Elephant Nature Park to ring in 2016 with the elephants!
Once again we found ourselves back in Bangkok. This time we decided to stay in the city center and explore more of the traditional tourist destinations.
During our last week in India, we went on a houseboat in Alappuzha (Alleppey), then spent our final days relaxing on a beach in Goa.
During our third week in India with kids, we continued exploring Mumbai before heading south to the Indian state of Kerala where we visited Kochi and Kumily
During our second week in India with kids, we explored Jaipur, including the Amer Fort, Ranthambhore National Park, and Mumbai.
During our first week in India with kids, we explored some of the sites in New Delhi, Agra, and Bharatpur, many of which are World Heritage Sites.
After traveling through 4 continents and 7 countries, 5 days at the Dolphin Bay Resort was just what we needed. It was the perfect place to spend Christmas!
During our second week in Malaysia, we flew to the island of Borneo and explored Kuching, Bako National Park and Mulu National Park.
We spent our first week in Malaysia checking out the shopping centers and an amusement park in Kuala Lumpur before exploring the surrounding area.
